COVID 19 WAIR Report Required For PH Companies
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) issued an advisory requiring all establishments to submit a Work Accident and Illness Report or WAIR COVID-19 report through the DOLE Establishment Report System. The report is due every 30th of the month with or without COVID-19 cases in the workplace.
Additionally, DTI-DOLE released a Joint Memorandum Circular No. 20-04-A regarding this protocol in DOLE’s website. Also, The report stressed necessary workplace safety measures such as:
- Psychosocial support given to employees through partnership with accredited health facilities
- Work-life balance for employees by proper scheduling of activities.
- Company policies aligned with public health standards.
Additionally, everyone must distance themselves from each other at least 1 meter apart and wear face masks at all times.
Apart from these, they require frequent handwashing and disinfection of work stations and common areas.
