Tahche’s 11th Anniversary Gala: A Night of Filipino Glitz & Glam at Citadines, Cebu City
It’s not every day that you see a celebration that combines elegance, talent, and a whole lot of heart. But that is exactly what Tahche employees experienced last Sept. 09, 2023 as the company celebrated its 11th anniversary at Citadines, Cebu City, Philippines.
Tahche, the name synonymous with top-notch recruitment services and Filipino professionals, marked its 11th anniversary in style. The theme for the evening? “Filipino Glitz & Glam.”
And it was truly a night to remember.
The evening commenced with a solemn prayer and the heartfelt singing of the national anthem, setting the tone for an event that would celebrate not only Tahche’s success but also the rich culture and talent of the Philippines.
VIP Opening Remarks
Vicky Francois, the VP of Special Projects at Tahche, took the stage by storm, radiating elegance in her gorgeous brown Filipiniana dress and chic updo. With infectious energy, she hyped up the crowd for the night ahead. But the glamor didn’t stop there. Tersus (a client of Tahche) executives, including Stephen Shafer, Bob Morphew, Randy Campbell, and Will Ralph, took the microphone, showing their fun-loving side as they shared candid words to the cheering Filipino crowd.
Bryan Luoma, Tahche’s charismatic CEO, didn’t just stick to the stage. Truly a man of the people, he walked among the rockstar employees, speaking proudly of their achievements. He emphasized how they represent the excellence that defines Tahche and how building teams in the Philippines is the secret sauce for success.
“You guys represent what’s great about Tahche. You guys are the reason that we’re here. When I talk to clients, and I tell them that we’ve got the best talent here in the world, that you can build a better team here in the Philippines than you can anywhere in the world, at first, they’re a little bit concerned. But once they’ve built that team, once they’ve worked with them, once they meet you guys. That’s true. And so I wanna thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.”
Hosts Extraordinaire
Cyril Jaranilla and Billy Sienes, our charming hosts for the night, kept the audience engaged and entertained, infusing the event with their unique blend of humor and professionalism.
Tawag ng Tanghalan at Tahche
But let’s not forget the main attraction of the night – the Tawag ng Tanghalan, roughly translated to “The Call of the Stage”. Eleven contestants, representing Tahche’s 11 years, poured their hearts into their performances, singing their chosen songs in front of an eager audience. The top three contestants then battled it out with medleys, competing for the title of Tawag ng Tanghalan Grand Champion.
The judges, brought in from outside Tahche to ensure no biases ruined the night, had a tough job. Criteria including voice quality, stage presence, impact, and adherence to the rules were meticulously considered. We tip our hats to Ms. Xenia Teresa Lecaros-Lagarnia, versatile professional, Atty. Lalaine Salve, Secretary of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, and Ms. Janet Lopez, CEO of Mami J Events and Services, for their impeccable judgment.

Between the performances, sumptuous dinner filled the gaps, along with raffle draws that had Tahche employees from Cebu and Manila eagerly awaiting their prizes.
