Spotlighting TJ Mariño: Making a Difference through Cancer Awareness Initiatives
Firstly, we would like to shine a spotlight on TJ Mariño, one of Tahche’s exceptional employees. TJ has taken a remarkable step to make a positive impact on the community by participating in the Rose Pharmacy Cancer Warriors Run 2023. This event, held at Robinsons Galleria Cebu, aims to support cancer warriors and their families. Proceeds from the run will be generously given to the Cebu Cancer Warriors Foundation, Inc.
“Been running this event since 2018 as a way of showing my support to children below 18 years old who are fighting to survive against cancer. This year, I am wearing TAHCHE with me during the event to show people that TAHCHE is here and that we CARE about the community around us.” – TJ
TJ’s 10 kilometer run featuring the Philippine’s fickle weather that immediately turned wet and slippery after capturing this picture is no easy feat. But TJ managed to pull through, reaching the finish line with much pride.
Tahche understands the significance of supporting causes related to cancer awareness. We recognize the immense challenges that cancer patients and their families face, and we are committed to making a difference in their lives. In a previous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, we also organized a special initiative that aimed to bring comfort and joy to children cancer patients. We provided their rooms with fresh paint, new beds, mattresses, and other essentials. Additionally, we made sure they had access to nutritious food and entertainment to uplift their spirits during their challenging journeys.
In recognition of TJ’s inspiring initiative and our ongoing commitment to cancer awareness, Tahche has provided him with his very own Tahche customized jersey. Not only does it serve as a symbol of his determination and compassion, but it also showcases our company’s unwavering support of his noble cause. We are proud to stand by TJ and cheer him on as he makes a difference in the lives of cancer warriors and their families.
Bringing the Summer Vibes to Manila-Based Employees
Now, let’s shift our focus to our Manila-based Tahche employees. While they were unable to attend the much-anticipated Tahche Music Festival 2023, our annual summer outing held in Cebu, the management team, led by our CEO Bryan Luoma, recognized their hard work and dedication, ensuring they still had an opportunity to enjoy the spirit of summer and feel the Tahche love.
Tahche gifted our Manila employees with the coveted JBL GO 3 speakers. These portable and stylish speakers will allow them to immerse themselves in their favorite summer beats, even beyond the season. We want our team to have a taste of the Tahche Music Festival experience wherever they go and keep their spirits high throughout the year.
