When asked about her role as a Front Desk Specialist, Cy expressed her love for helping provide patients with their healthcare needs. “What I love about being a Front Desk Specialist is that I was able to help patients with their radiology needs, and I was able to provide them the quality of service each patient needs,” she shared with enthusiasm.

But while bound by professionalism during office hours, she lets out the more energetic part of her personality beyond the office. “Outside from this work, I am the enthusiastic side of a person—I am very jovial, very happy, very outgoing, and very outspoken,” she shared laughingly, said personality peeking out through the surface.

As a Filipino working for a foreign company, Cy highlighted the importance of understanding and respecting American culture. “Cultural [sensitivity] is very important to young Filipinos like me working with American clients. To understand the American culture is very important for us Filipinos, for us to be able to understand how we deal with them, how we talk to them, how to weigh things between our culture and the culture of Americans. And with this, if you know the culture of those clients you’re working for, then you will be successful in the job that [you have] right now.”

It was such a great opportunity to work with these talented individuals. They were able to see potential in me in hosting. And I was able to show off [my] talent in front of our Tahche employees and our clients,” As she reminisced, she successfully gave us a glimpse of the close-knit office community at Tahche.

But always remember that there will always be this group of people who will accept you, who will understand you. And that’s where I found myself working in Tahche.
