The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) continues to make a positive impact to entrepreneurs around the world with its GLCx Momentum Global Leadership Conference held last April 7-9, 2021 virtually anywhere where EO members are present.
As part of EO network, Tahche CEO and President Bryan Luoma, General Manager amy sy and Sales and Marketing Supervisor, Eunice Malijan participated and held a virtual booth for TAHCHE in the immersive online event with the greatest thought leaders of this generation in an AI-powered matchmaking system that enabled them to create meaningful peer-to-peer connections online.
Strengthening The Entrepreneurial Spirit In Challenging Times
The role of EO apart from the transformational growth of its members has always been to bring positive impact to businesses and communities across the globe through the EO members and leaders themselves.
This 2021, EO focused on three essential learning blocks namely Energy, Connection and Growth which are crucial in the growth of every entrepreneur.
Energy is the fuel to keep us going to where we need to be. That energy must be sparked and sustained in order for us to go a long way.
New York Times bestselling author and co-founder of the world’s largest private jet card company, Marquis Jet, Jesse Itzler told the participants, “You cannot outsource the soul, if you’re going to do something, put your soul into it.”
True enough this meant that we have to be the first ones to inspire ourselves to do what we do best. It means being responsible for your own motivation, and learn to position and strengthen yourself to do your goals.
Unleashing our energy means to ignite our potential, find opportunities that make us better, be consistent with our goals and to learn to pause and conserve that energy through restorative methods like rest and letting go of negativity, so we’re prepared to take on more.
Founder and CEO of Clean Start Solutions Kenya and speaker Teresa Njoroge stated that “When you slow down, you achieve so much more.”
Developing Real Connections
Real connection is what people are mostly hungry for these days especially with the physical distancing measures implemented all around the world. Real connections give us power to keep on going which is why EO led a peer-to-peer learning with hard-won insights from like-minded leaders and seasoned practitioners.
Another thing that drives us when we are placed in rocky situations is the power of real connections which is found in a caring and wholesome community. Having the right set of mentors and peers allow us to accelerate our speed to pursue our goals in challenging times. They serve as a support system that beats our individual weaknesses and empowers us to build on strategies and relationships that are beneficial in the long run.
Founder of several companies like altMBA, Squidoo, Yoyodyne and The Akimbo Workshops and connection guru Seth Godin discussed about how people should be prioritized over one’s own practice. He told the participants, “Don’t burn trust to get attention. Burn attention to earn trust.”
Instilling Long Lasting Growth
A sustainable growth plan for all its members and leaders is what GLCx Momentum aims to achieve. Growth starts with oneself and one’s willingness to grow. In the session, EO asked its participants, “A year from now, who do you want to be? What do you want to accomplish in life and business?”
Mel Robbins, who is part of the speakers in the Growth session said, “Life is about growth and exploration, not achieving a fixed state of balance. You have a very limited time on Earth to experience all that you can. Figuring out how to squeeze the most out of your family, work, and spirituality is your life’s purpose. Go do it.”
